Owl Encounter

Child or adult, everyone loves owls, but how about learning a little bit more about these wonderful nocturnal creatures.
Come and see them fly in their natural setting and most importantly at dusk / night time in and around the lovely setting of Stockley farm.

Gift Voucher This activity is not carried out in total darkness as only the Owls would see and there is ample lighting at the farm to see, photograph and enjoy the evening (although we do turn off the lights for a quick demonstration) You will be amazed as a Barn owl fly’s across the farm yard to land in the minimum of light.

OwlSee how they would hunt in a natural setting, learn about their camouflage and intense hearing which is so important to owls in low light.

The emphasis during your encounter is on handling and flying our owls you will be shown how to weigh them prior to flying how to keep them and their feeding requirements, therefore anyone interested in obtaining an owl in the future, this would be of immense value.

From the Barn Owl to the Eagle Owl, this is a fun activity and suitable for any age group, family bookings can be catered for and the experience lasts for one and a half hours. All equipment is provided and gift vouchers are valid for six months.

OwlStart times vary due to time of year and can be confirmed prior to your visit. All we would ask is you bring warm clothing and a CAMERA. The encounter costs £35 per person or £140 for a family / group (up to 6 maximum)
You will receive a gift card inviting the person / group to come along to experience flying the owls of Stockley Farm.
